It began, as all great stories do, with Robyn’s “Dancing on my Own” blaring from a Kia Picanto’s tiny speakers. The concept of terrible poetry was born from brilliant lyrics and the knowledge that every single thing you do will probably be cringe to someone out there. So, you might as well do the thing anyway.

The book is divided into 3 distinct chapters. We start with lust, as most relationships often do, and then journey into falling in love and hurtling out of it too.

A commentary on dating and the quest not to.

We all want love, but sometimes it’s difficult to find it. Dating is often like swimming in a crocodile-infested river and attempting to find a Koi.

Not all endings are final.

In the words of Lana del Rey: sometimes it takes getting everything you’ve ever wanted and then losing it to know what true freedom is.
